About the City
Prayagraj city is one of the most renowned centres of culture in India. Located at the holy confluence of Rivers Ganga and Yamuna this city is also known as a center of education and academic excellence. The Northern Regional Institute of Printing Technology(NRIPT) was established here in the year of 1957.

Prayagraj is a city of paradox. Since time immemorial, the city has been famous as a great centre of learning as well as a hub of religion. While the former has its connection with reason, the other is associated with faith. This has created not only a remarkable balance in the growth of the city, but has also prevented it from turning into a soul-less concrete jungle.
About the Institute
NRIPT is the oldest Printing Institute in Northern India .
The N.R.I.P.T., Prayagraj came into existence in 1957. It is a premier institute that provides technocrats to the printing industry located in northern region, comprising states of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Harayana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Jammu & Kashmir, Delhi and the union territory of Chandigarh . The institute is under the administration of Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Department of Technical Education.
